# Affiliate & partner disclosure

This website is an **unofficial** informational guide to Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport (GHV). It has no direct or indirect relationship with the airport operator.

Running it costs money — hosting, the flight-data feed, the weather feed — and some of that is paid for by advertising and by partner links. This page explains exactly how, because you are entitled to know when a recommendation is a commercial one.

## The short version

Some links on this site earn us money if you use them. It never costs you more, and it never changes what we tell you about your flight.

## Advertising

We show advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are chosen by Google, not by us, and we have no relationship with the advertisers. Advertising only loads after you accept non-essential cookies.

## Partner links

Where a link is commercial, we label it at the point of the recommendation — not just here. There are three kinds, and each carries its own wording on the page itself:

### Our own service

**taxifagaras.ro is operated by the same owner as this website.** It is a taxi and transfer company (SC IlyDenis SRL) based in Făgăraș, Brașov county.

This is the relationship most worth stating plainly. When we recommend an airport transfer and that transfer company is ours, you should know that before you click — not discover it afterwards. Any such link is labelled **"Our own service"**.

### Paid placements

Some businesses pay a flat fee to be listed. They do not pay for a favourable description, and paying does not buy a better position over a more useful option. These are labelled **"Paid placement"**.

### Affiliate links

For car hire, accommodation, tours and similar, we use affiliate programmes. If you book after following one of our links, the company pays us a share of their commission. **The price you pay is exactly the same** as going direct — the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket. These are labelled **"Partner offers"**.

## What we will not do

- We will not recommend something purely because it pays more.
- We will not present a paid placement as an editorial recommendation.
- We will not hide the taxifagaras.ro ownership connection.
- We will not let a commercial relationship change the flight information we publish. The flight board is the reason people come here, and it is not for sale.

## How we count clicks

When you click a partner link it passes through our own `/go/` redirect before reaching the partner. This lets us count how many people used a link without loading any third-party tracking script.

We record: which offer was clicked, which page section it was on, the language, the country your network reports, and whether the device looks like a phone, a desktop or a bot.

We do **not** store your IP address, and we do not set a cookie or store anything at all on your device for this. To avoid double-counting the same person on the same day, we keep a one-way hash that is scrambled with a secret that changes daily — so it cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next, or to identify you.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): we need to know which links are useful. Records are kept for at most 400 days.
